Getting started is simple. Just give us a call and provide us with the necessary details, such as the reason for your appointment and your address. Our friendly staff will calculate the distance from the surgery and provide you with a quote. We strive to make the process seamless so you can focus on your wellbeing.
Our qualified GP will visit you in your home, take your medical history, and perform a physical examination if required. Testing such as blood tests and urine tests can also be carried out when required. We can provide you with a prescription and offer advice on further treatment if needed.

A home visit by a Wells GP is where a qualified doctor from Wells comes to your home to provide medical care and services.
There is no registration as such, just book an Extended GP Consultation and bring photo ID with you to your first appointment.
Prices start at £250. Prescriptions, referrals and tests can be organised at an extra cost.
We will update your NHS GP on your progress if required.
We can visit anyone within a 20-minute drive from our surgery, depending on our schedule for the day.
We understand the importance of timely referrals and strive to provide same-day referrals whenever possible.
There may be additional charges for a home visit. Our staff will inform you of the fees involved during the appointment scheduling process, including any travel costs.

To prepare for your home visit:

- In your booking confirmation email there will be a pre-appointment questionnaire to complete if you are a new patient to Wells.

If further tests or treatments are required, your Wells GP will discuss the options with you, arrange necessary referrals, and coordinate the process with relevant healthcare providers.
Regular home visits can be arranged for ongoing care, particularly for individuals with chronic or complex conditions. Your Wells GP will work with you to establish a suitable care plan.

Our clinic is in a former stately home within 25 acres of countryside, gardens and woodland, with sweeping views of the South Downs. This tranquil setting is away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. We are in an easily accessible ground-floor suite with free parking outside.
